Panaji: July 27, 2017 … Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, New Delhi has instituted National Award for outstanding fieldwork in eradicating untouchability and combating offences of atrocities against members of Scheduled Cats for the year 2016.
The award will be given to outstanding NGOs and Human Rights Activists for rendering yeoman services in the above mentioned fields. The awards carries an amount of Rupees Two lakhs for individual Human Rights Activists and Rupees Five lakhs for Non Government organization (NGOs).
Interested NGO’s/Individuals may submit their application with their complete details like name of the individual/ organization, complete address of communication, landline and mobile phone numbers for the year 2016 to the Director, Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji.
