CHIEF MINISTER INAUGURATES NCS MEGA JOB FAIR

Panaji , June 18,  2017 … The Chief Minister, Shri. Manohar Parrikar Inaugurated NCS Mega Job Fair organized by the Office of the Commissioner, Labour and Employment, Regional Employment Exchange, Model Career Centre, Panaji-Goa at Don Bosco Oratory Hall today.

 A total of 70 reputed companies from private sector are participate in Mega Job Fair and around 2000 vacancies are on offer to jobseekers at the Job Fair. Vacancies are available for both fresher’s as well as experienced jobseekers. Job openings are available in different fields like IT, pharmacy, management, engineering, hospitality, retail etc.

There are job opportunities for diploma holders, graduates and post-graduates as well as for ITI trainees and school dropouts. Bosch, Cipla, Unichem Laboratories, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, IFB, Videocon, Persistent Systems, Commscope (Andrew Telecommunications), Marriott Resort, Park Hyatt and Manipal Hospitals are among the list of employers participated in the Job Fair.

The objective of the fair aimed at to increase employment opportunities for the job seekers and offer a wide range of selection to the recruiters from a large pool of registered jobseekers with diverse skills and educational profiles.

Speaking on the occasion  after inaugurating  Job Fair the Chief Minister said that the NCS Mega Job Fair concept initiated by the Government to provide employment opportunities for Goa’s job seekers. Such a crowd of job seekers from Goa  shows good sign that they are giving huge preference to private jobs. He also urged people to gain experience and not to only monitory benefits. He wished good luck to Job seekers and job providers.

Ex-MLA and Chairman of EDC, Shri Sidharth Kuncalienkar Said that Goa’s talent is very rich and this is the good opportunity for goan’s to show their telant, so he urged all job Seekers to  avail benefit of this opportunity.

Chairman GSHDC and MLA Mayem AC, Shri Pravin Zantye, President GCCI, Goa Shri Narayan Bandekar, Chairman CII State Council Goa Shri Atrey Swant, Chairman NIPM Goa Chapter Shri  Durgesh Angle and Founder Enviro Skills Shri Suman Roy were present among others.
