Applications are invited from eligible candidates on plain paper for the 02 post of Project Assistant to work on the research project entitled Discovering the Nature and its Microbes sponsored by the ESCO – Global (Absolute) Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
Selected candidates will have to conduct fieldwork for sample collection across the state of Goa as well as the microbiological analysis and isolation of culturable microbes at the School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Goa University.
Essential Qualifications for the posts is M. Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology / Marine Science/ Botany/Zoology with experience in laboratory analysis. Desirable Qualifications will be work experience in the field of microbiology for sample collection from marine habitats and for laboratory analysis for isolation of microbial cultures. Monthly Emolument is Rs.20,000/- (Consolidated). The duration of the Project is three months. Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
