Farmers are advised to replace their paddy seeds every three years to achieve higher yields.

Additionally, seeds of various vegetable varieties are available to the public at a 50 percent subsidy, encouraging kitchen gardening.

For the ploughing of fields and crop cultivation, tractors are available for farmers at 50% subsidized hire rates through Zonal Agriculture Offices. Paddy seedling transplanters are also offered at 50 percent rental charges, making advanced agricultural machinery accessible.

Moreover, agricultural machinery is provided to farmers through Custom Service Centres established by farmer groups and societies ensuring that the latest technology is within reach for efficient farming.

Planting materials for mango, coconut, cashew, guava, chikoo and others are available at reasonable rates, promoting the growth of these valuable fruit crops.

Farmers are encouraged to take advantage of these services by visiting their respective taluka-level Zonal Agriculture offices. The Directorate of Agriculture remains committed to supporting the farming community and ensuring a productive Kharif season.
