October /2015 … Asking for a free and fair investigation in to the sez case the state nationalist congress party has asked the state government to hand over the sez case to cbi instead of the anti corruption bereau handling it mentioned that the acb was under the state government and there were indications that political interference could be involved in to the sez case
Addressing media persons in panjim ncp spokesperson trojano dmello said that the recent notices served by the ACB to the two top main Opposition leaders was a clear indication that the vengeance of the BJP does not even spare the most tolerant Opposition leaders towards the BJP’s communal and corrupt politics.
Trojano said that ncp hoped that the sez case investigation would not turn out like the Louis Berger case wherein one leader was persecuted and the other was left scot-free.
trojano also stated that there were reports stating that the Goa government intends to shift the NGT Bench from Pune to Delhi which only proved that the state government was out to destroy the pristine land, eco-sensitive land coming under CRZ which is being protected today by the NGT and therefore demanded that an NGT Bench to be established in Goa
