Ms. Vrushika Kauthankar Deputy Collector and SDO II Salcete and ERO/ARO for 25 Vasco Assembly Constituency/Segment and Pravinjay Pandit Mamlatdar of Mormugao Taluka and AERO for 25 Vasco AC organised Karaoke solo singing Competition yesterday at Mini Theatre Hall Ravindra Bhavan Baina to create awareness amongst the electors with respect to ethical voting .
Zeeshan Jakati Student of MES College was the winner of the Karaoke Solo Singing Competition. Sujay Naik resident of Vasco AC was the 1st runner up and Siddanna Telgi student of MES College was the 2nd Runner up for the Karaoke Solo Singing Competition.
The ARO and AERO of 25 Vasco AC conferred trophies and certificates to the winners of the said competition. Spot prizes were also given to people who had answered the questions related to election matters.
Shri Vinay Gawas Film Director of Marathi and Konkani movies and Shri Sujan Sawant Music Teacher O/O Art and Culture Department were the judges for the said event.
The ARO/AERO stated that the prime objective of this voter awareness activities was to create awareness about ethical voting in view of the ensuing Lok Sabha Election 2024 and appealed to the youth and general public to exercise their right to vote for the Lok Sabha election 2024 which is scheduled in the State of Goa on May 7th, 2024.
