Governor of Goa, Shri. P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has extended his heartiest greetings and best wishes to the people of Goa on the auspicious and joyous occasion of Holi.
Governor Shri. Pillai In his message said that, the Festival of Holi symbolizes the vibrant colours and spirit of tolerance in our diverse society. Holi is a festival of colours, which provides an opportunity to strengthen harmony and fraternal bond among the people. The unique feature of this festival is that it is celebrated with joy and spirit by all the people without any consideration of caste, creed or religion. This is an important festival which promotes harmonious relationships, mutual understanding, social solidarity and national integration. Holi is much more than a festival where colourful faces showcase the Country’s unique trait of ‘Unity in Diversity’.
