Panaji: July 19, 2015 … Chief Minister, Shri Laxmikant Parsekar asserted that the State has taken rapid strides in the field of education since liberation and felt that still more needs to be done, especially providing of well trained, competent, expert, efficient teachers.
The beginning of B.A. B. Ed integrated course by Prabodhan Education Society will cater to this future needs, he added.
Shri Parsekar was speaking after inaugurating B.A. B.Ed Programme for Prabodhan Education Society’s Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer, and Management at a function held at Porvorim recetly.
Shri Parsekar complimenting the management of Prabodhan Education Society’s for their innovative step in the field of education said that he was impressed with the idea of integrated course of B.A, B.Ed as it will help to churn out well trained professional teachers for future and simultaneously pave the way for their employment.
Shri Shripad Naik, Union Minister for Ayush, while speaking at the function said educational institutions has a great responsibility of creating ideal and well cultured future citizens. Teachers, he said has the great responsibility to imbibe upon the young minds the values of ethics, honesty in making them ideal human beings.
Shri Naik speaking further complimented the stakeholders of Prabodhan Education Society for beginning integrated B.A B.Ed course.
Shri Dnyaneshwar Pednekar, Jt. Secretary in his introductory remark explained about the integrated course of B.A, B.Ed and its relevance in today’s context.
Chief Minister, Shri Parsekar on the occasion honoured the students of Commerce who excelled in their exams.
Shri Datta Naik, Vice-Chairman; Shri Avdhoot Parrikar, Treasurer; Dr. Bhaskar Nayak, Director, Higher Education; Shri Sukhaji Naik, Principal; Shri Guruprasad Pawaskar, Chairman, Sanjay Center for Special Education and others attended the function.
Shri Kedareshwar Tadkod welcomed the guest while Shri Subhash Velingkar, Secretary, Prabodhan Education Society proposed the vote of thanks.
