It may be noted that the state government had decided to hold elections for electing new municipal councils for 11 municipalities around the state on November 1 this year deciding not to hold the municipal election on party lines and also to hold the delimitation process of wards before the elections
Addressing media persons in panjim vice president of the state nationalist congress party jose Philip d’souza said that there was a fear in the mind of the goans there the delimitations process could be done to favour some of the bjp mla’s to get their candidates win in the municipality elections
Mr dsouza said that since there could be certain interference by certain bjp mla’s he was of the opinion that the complete delimitation process to be handled by the state election commission
