It may be noted that in the 40 members state legislative assembly the state congress party earlier had nine mla’s after which the congress party took a decision to suspend taliegao mla babush monsoratte from its party for five years leaving them to eight mla’s in the opposition but now with the dabolim mla mauvin godhino trying to part ways from the congress party, the party seems to have been left only with seven mla’s as an opposition party though mr godinho is still a congress mla an have only confirmed his desire to move out of the congress party
Speaking exclusive to goanreporter for the first time on his decision to move out of the congress party, congress mla from dabolim constituency mauvin godinho said that though he was technically in congress party for all purposes he was very much out of the same congress party and therefore the question of him going back to the congress party for the next assembly elections was totally out of his mind ….
Mr godinho said that he could not see any road map that the congress party could ride back to power in the next state assembly elections
Mr godinho also blamed the senior leaders from the congress party who he blamed were responsible to pull him down his image and to destroy him politically
