20/05/2015 … The goa state congress party has condemned the state government decision of reinstating police officers who were on suspensions of being involved in police politicians drug nexus case in goa and has now decided to write to the cbi director, pmo office informing about the police politician drug nexus case matter…

It may be noted that as per the order signed by Deputy Inspector General of Police the Seven police officials including a Police Inspector who were among nearly 18 policemen to be suspended for their alleged nexus with the drug mafia in the state in 2010, were re-instated on Tuesday despite an ongoing departmental inquiry against them.

Addressing media person’s spokesperson of the state congress party sunil khautankar said that such decision taken by the state government had shown moral bankruptcy on its part and was nothing but a clear cut deviation from its earlier pre poll stand of zero tolerance corruption

Khautankar also pointed out that the former anti burglary squad chief police officer was still moving free on the roads in the state even after having been suspended for extortion cases and question as why he was still moving scot free …

Khautankar also stated that it was said that the present defense minister Manohar Parrikar who was earlier the chief minister of goa and had been shouting against drugs now had not interest in curbing drug menace in goa …
