Panaji: May 16, 2015 …. Government of India has allotted 1 Seat for Goa State for admission of candidate for 3 years Diploma Course in Handloom and Textile Technology (DHTT) at Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT) at Salem in Tamil Nadu. In this connection duly filled applications in prescribed Proforma are invited from the interested candidates for admission for DHT, commencing from July 16, 2015.
Essential:- Educational Qualification: the candidate should have passed 10th standard or equivalent with English as a subject of study. Age limit: age of the candidate should be between 15 to 23 years for General candidates and for SC/ST candidates it should be between 15 to25 years as on July 1, 2015. The candidates should be residents of Goa for 15 years.
Stipend: the student admitted for the course should be eligible for Stipend of Rs.1000/- p.m. for 1st year, Rs.1100/- p.m. for 2nd year and Rs.1200/- pm. For 3rd year for 10 months, which will be shared by the Central and State Government at the ratio of 50:50.
