Goan Reporter News: Left Hand Side 4-Lane Corridor of new Zuari bridge will be open for vehicular traffic from December 24th 2024.

Public Works Department has informed that the completed Left Hand Side 4-Lane Corridor of the New Zuari Bridge on the National Highway, NH-66 will be opened for vehicular traffic from December 24, 2024 at 10.00 a. m. onwards with vehicular transit restrictions on Old Zuari Bridge and traffic movement directions for New Zuari Bridge.

 Old Zuari Bridge will be One Way from Panjim side to Margao side for light two axle vehicular traffic of weight up to 12 Tons. New Zuari Bridge LHS corridor will be One Way from Panjim side to Margao side for all kinds of vehicles including heavy vehicles of weight more than 12 Tons. New Zuari Bridge RHS corridor will be One Way from Margao side to Panjim side for all kinds of vehicles including heavy vehicles of weight more than 12 Tons.

There will be restrictions on entry of heavy vehicles of weight more than 12 tons on the old Zuari Bridge for which a “Height –Barrier” has been erected on the Agassaim side of the old bridge.
