SP North Nidhin Valsan said that Goa police is geared up for the closing ceremony of the 37th National Games at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.
“We are fully prepared for the closing ceremony of the National Games. Hon. Vice President of India is coming to attend the closing ceremony. The Security unit and traffic police as well as the local police and ATS are fully geared up. We have made all the arrangements.
He also said that the since the start of the Games, Goa police has been able to successfully ensure security arrangements were in place at all venues.
“Goa police has been able to successfully provide security for the National Games. In North Goa, we had two clusters which comprised 17 venues, where 42 sport disciplines took place. With the help of traffic police and security, we have been able to ensure smooth flow of spectators and athletes and ensure full-proof security.
