Fal Desai, Director, Department of Information and Technology inaugurated half day workshop on “Cyber Threats in Digital Space and Securities’’ for the Offices of Government of Goa organised by Information and Technology Department on November 5, 2014 at Secretariat, Porvorim – Goa.
The session was conducted by Shri Rakshit Tandon a renowed speaker on Cyber Crime who is Director – A and R Info Security Solution Pvt. Ltd., Consultant – Internet and Mobile Association of INDIA, Advisor – Cyber Crime Unit, Uttar Pradesh Police, Agra, Advisor – Cyber Crime Cell, Gurgaon, Haryana Police, President – JAT, Joint Action Team for combating Cyber Crime against Women and Children, Consultant – AIWFA, All India Women’s Education Fund Association, CEO – Tandons Solution Provider, Resource Person – BPRD Bureau for Police Research and Development, Government of India, Visiting Faculty – Lecture ar DRB.R. Ambedekar Police Academy – Moradabad (U.P.) Haryana Police Academy – Karnal, Police Radio Training School, Indore, CDTC Central Detective Training School Chandigarh and Ghaziabad.
The session broadly covered topics like Social Media Threats and Securities, Ecommerce Threats and Securities, Mobile Crimes Threats, Hacking and Securities. Around 60 Officers of various Department of Government of Goa participated in the interactive workshop.
