National Games: Road closures and alternate routes between Panaji, Vasco and Margao on Oct 26
Traffic police have issued advisory for the inaugural function of National Games at Fatorda Stadium which will be attended by PM Narendra Modi on October 26. The road from INS Hansa to Birla cross to Verna Titan to Seraulim junction (Western Bypass) to Old Market circle in Margao will be closed from 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm on October 26 in view of PM’s travel to inauguration venue. Those traveling from Panaji to Dabolim Airport have to take Agassaim to Old Zuari bridge to Cortalim junction to St Jacinto Island to Chicalim junction to airport. Those coming from Margao to Panaji have to take Arlem Circle, Raia-Borim toll naka, Rassaim to Thana-Cortalim and new Zuari bridge. Those traveling from Vasco to Panaji will have to take Chicalim junction to St Jacinto Island to Cortalim to new Zuari bridge.
