The Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has come up with an Apprenticeship Training under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Policy (CMAP) for Government establishments 2023.
A Meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Director of Tourism Shri Suneel Anchipaka IAS at Panjim Today. The meeting was attended by hoteliers from all over Goa.
Addressing the hoteliers, Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS said, Tourism and Hospitality sector is the lifeline of Goan economy and 35 percent of the employment is generated from these sectors. He said the chief minister’s vision is to create 5000 jobs in the government and private sector that may be from industrial, manufacturing, tourism, hospitality and various private sector participation. The main objective is to create employment for the local people.
Shri Suneel requested all the hoteliers to move forward to create employment and hope that tourism and hospitality sector should target towards achieving 35 percent of jobs out of 5000 jobs.
