It may be noted that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar while speaking at the state executive on Monday had announced that he would initiate action against Congress MLAs such as Chandrakant Kavlekar, Atanasio Monserrate, Digambar Kamat, Churchill Alemao and Vishwajit Rane before Diwali over their alleged involvement in scams during the erstwhile Congress regime and had also assured to take action against all former Congress ministers who were involved in corruption.
