panaji: September15, 2015 …. The 7th Executive Committee Meeting of Sainik Welfare Board on Special fund for Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Ex-Servicemen was held at the Secretariat today. The meeting was Chaired by Chief Secretary Shri R.K Srivastav.
During the meeting, various issues pertaining to the welfare of ex-servicemen were discussed. The meeting also discussed on issues like renewal of financial assistance cases, reviewed the bye-laws of the fund and handicapped grant to wards of exe-servicemen, besides this scholarship cases, special scholarship cases and medical reimbursement cases as well. Apart from this, the issue of domicile of ex-servicemen and enhancing the amount of marriage grant from Rs. 15000 to Rs.50000.
