Panaji: June 11, 2016 … The Directorate of Planning , Statistics and Evaluation, Government of Goa, is the Nodal Agency for conducting Agriculture Census in the State of Goa. The 10th Agriculture Census 2015-16 will be commencing from July 2016 with the reference year 2015-16.
A pilot survey is being conducted from June 13, 2016 in two villages i.e Amona, Bicholim, Taluka, North Goa and Nuvem in Salcete Taluka, South Goa.
Enumerators appointed for the task will be visiting the operational holders in the aforesaid villages to gather related data. The general public is therefore requested to co-operate with the enumerators in dispensing the requisite information.
