state congress party not to invite any state congress leaders who had kept themselves away from the campaigning process of the ongoing lok Sabha elections in the state

12/04/2014 …. Gpcc president john Fernandes on Saturday said that the state congress party would not invite any of the state congress leaders who had kept themselves away from the campaigning process of the ongoing lok Sabha elections in the state of goa

It may be noted that in the campaigning process of the ongoing lok Sabha elections various congress leaders such as youth president valanka alemao, dabolim mla mauvin godinho , former cuncolim mla joaquim alemao, former south goa mp Francisco sardinha had not participated in the campaign process of the congress candidates in the state specially in south goa …

Though citing personnel reasons valanka had shifted herself to delhi to campaign for the congress party dabolim mla mauvin godinho, former south goa mp Francisco sardinha had also kept himself away from the congress campaign

Speaking to goanreporter gpcc president john Fernandes said that if any of the congress leader who is a member of the pcc committee and had not worked for the party during the lok Sabha elections would be asked the vacate the pcc seat or not to attend the pcc meet

Fernandes said there would not be any effect of the alemao family as well as of the dabolim mla mauvin godinho at the south goa parliamentary seat for the lok Sabha elections

Fernandes also stated that Churchill had done a mistake by resigning from the congress party and joining tmc to fight the lok Sabha elections but instead should have allowed the alemao’s younger generation to come up in their political life as their search had already began for news faces in various state constituencies
