Speaking to goanreporter sarpanch of old goa village panchayat nilkhant bhomkar said they had met chief minister monahar Parrikar along with my pancha’s and member of old goa garbage action committee and has explained to him about our grievances over the issue of the upcoming garbage treatment palnt at baigunim

Bhomkar said that he was also of the opinion that garbage has to be treated somewhere or the other in the state but not at old goa, when everyone knows what is old goa being it a historic place

Bhomkar also stated that they were definitely confident that cm would listen to their grievances and would think over the issue as one of the ward of old goa village panchayat comes under the constituency of chief minister Manohar Parrikar
