The workshop was inaugurated by chief guest of the function and Health minister laxmikhant parsekar in the presence of director of health services dr sanjiv dalvi, president of all goa motor cycle taxi riders association suresh takur and others …

 More than five hundred motor cycle taxi riders were a part of the day long workshop which aimed at giving information about the killer diseases of hiv/aids to motor cycle taxi riders and also to impart better knowledge about the same with in the society ….

 Speaking at the function health minister laxmikhant parsekar said that there was a need for every one to carry forward information on safe sex and safe driving through which there could be less number of death case through hiv/aids and through rash driving

 Meanwhile president of all goa motor cycle taxi riders association suresh takur asked the state government to implement health schemes for the motor cycle taxi riders along with other facilities

Later helmets were also distributed to various motor cycle taxi riders by health minister laxmikhant parsekar along with a rally being flagged off on the occasion
